Franklin S Wingate, 69, well-known Delaware County farmer, died at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the family home six miles north of Muncie on the Granville road. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. The funeral services were conducted at Delaware Chapel at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev Herbert Perry officiating. Burial was made in the Black cemetery. Mr Wingate was a member of Heart and Hand Lodge of Odd Fellows at Albany. Surviving are the widow, Margaret, one son, Roscoe; two brothers, Norval Wingate of Delaware County, and William Wingate of Albuquerque, N M, and a half brother, Omar Wingate of Delaware County. |
