On Thursday evening April 24th, Mrs. Emma Warfel died at her home on the Granville pike north of the city aged 44 years and 8 months. The deceased had been suffering for twelve weeks from complaints superinduced by la grippe. She was beloved by all who knew her, and was a gentle wife and a loving mother. Five children were born to her, four of whom have died. One little girl is left to mourn the loss of a gentle, loving and indulgent mother. The funeral occurred from the residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. U. Wade of the High Street M. E. Church. Interment at Collins cemetery. |
