Rev. W. B. F. Treat, one of the oldest and most widely known ministers of the Christian church in Indiana, died Tuesday morning at his home in Indianapolis of uraemic poisoning, followed by a cold contracted during the holidays. He was 68 years old. For three years Rev. Treat was the pastor of the Christian church of this city, coming here from Martinsville, Ind. During his pastorate the present church in East Jackson street was built. From here he moved to Indianapolis. He leaves a wife, three sons and one daughter. |
