Tragedy Recalled By Death Of Mrs. Toll At Infirmary
Years Ago Her Husband, Unjustly Accused, Committed Suicide, And She Became Insane

Mrs. Lydia Toll, 70, an innmate of the County Infirmary died Wednesday night and was buried Thursday
morning. Behind the story of her death is an interesting and almost tragic tale. Many years ago her husband
hanged himself in Muncie's city building because he was accused of a theft, which he never committed.
Mrs. Toll became insane after the suicide of her husband and since then had been dependent on the county.
She was an object of pitty to all who were acquainted with her past life and its tragic events.
