An Old Soldier Gone Marcus L. Tharp died yesterday morning at his home, 1634 South Penn street. The deceased was a member of the G. A. R. and Senior Order United American Mechanics, and was highly respected by all who knew him. The funeral will occur this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, services being held at the Avondale M. E. church. Interment in Beech Grove cemetery.
