Deaths John M. Smith, 67 died of heart failure Friday morning at his home on West Ninth street. He had been ailing for some time but his relatives were not expecting serious results. One son and four daugh- ters survive. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Mt. Olive Church. Interment in Nottingham's Cemetery. Mr. Smith was highly respected and was well known throughout the country.
