Nicholas Shafer, an old settler of this county, died of old age at his home in Royerton. He was a man highly respected throughout
the county. A wife and several children survive. The funeral services will be held in the M E church at Royerton Saturday morning,
at 10 o'clock, after which interment will take place at Beech Grove.
