The News is in receipt of a marked copy of the Brookville Democrat, containing the following regarding the death of the mother of Theodore Rose, which occurred in that city last Sunday. last Sunday evening at 7 o'clock occured the death of Mrs Jane E Rose, at her home on franklin avenue, in this city. She was 72 years old and the cause of her death was lung trouble. The deceased was an old resident of this county, she having resided most of her life at Fairfield untila few years ago when she purchased property and removed to this city. one son and two daughters survive her, they being Theordore Rose, a prominent attorney of Muncie, and Mrs C F Jones and Mrs Rebecca Fowler, of this city. the funeral services were held at the M E church on Tuesday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev E H Wood and interment in the Fairfield cemetery. |
