Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Nelson will leave this morning for Springfield, Ill., to attend the funeral of the latter's brother, O. W. Record, who died in Chicago Tuesday evening of pneumonia. The deceased resided in Muncie two years ago and was employed at the Whiteley Malleable Iron works. He won many friends during his stay here and was a man of excellent habits. He was a member of the Springfield police force for a number of years and the interment will be made in that city. |
