A telegram was received here this morning announcing the death in Chicago yesterday, of Mr. Frederick A. Preston, brother-in-law of Mr. Charles A. Willard. Mr. Preston was in Muncie about a week ago visiting his children. He went to Chicago from the city and soon after arriving there was seized with pneumonia, and rapidly grew worse until death ended his suffering. The body will be brought here for interment, but the time for the funeral has not been fixed. |
The remains of the late Fred A. Preston, who died in Chicago Sunday night, will arrive here this evening at 5 o'clock and will be at once taken to the residence of Mrs. Dr. Willard, 603 East Adams street. The funeral will occur from the house tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, services being conducted by Rev. F. O. Grannis, pastor of Grace church. Interment in Beech Grove cemetery. |
The funeral of the late Fred A. Preston occurred this morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of Mrs. Dr. Willard, east Adams street. Services were conducted by Rev. Charles Morris, of Evansville the body was laid to rest in Beech Grove Cemetery. |
