Mrs. Wm Powers, of Terre Haute, Ind., the mother of Mrs. Thomas Kinser, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Barrett, in Independence, Kansas, on Monday last. Mrs. Kinser was notified of her mother's illness by telegraph and left Sunday night to be at the bedside of her mother, but before she arrived the mother died. Mr. Kinser received a dispatch this morning that his wife would return to Terre Haute with the remains this evening, and the funeral will take place tomorrow. Mr. Kinser and sons left today on the 10 o'clock train by the way of the Big Four to attend the funeral. |
