Mrs Emma Palmer Dies

Mrs Emma Mirah Palmer, 61, widow of the late Edward J Palmer, passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs L M Mumford, 117 South Dill street, yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock after a brief illness. She is survived by six children, Mrs L D Mumford, Willis and Otto ll of this city; Horace T and Charles Palmer, of Portland, Ore; and Mrs Anna Lane of Dayton, Ohio. A nephew, Charles Alexander, who made his home with Mrs Palmer since early childhood, also survives. The funeral arrangements will be made upon the arrival of the sons from the West.

Mrs Emma Palmer

The body of Mrs Emma Palmer, 61, widow of Edward J Palmer, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs L M Mumford, 117 South Dill street, Friday morning, following a brief illness, was taken today to the home of a son, Willis Palmer, 1120 East Seventh street. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Madison street M E church, the Reverend J S Newcomb officiating. Burial will take place in Beech Grove cemetery. She is survived by six children, Mrs L D Mumford; Willis and Otto Palmer, of this city; Horace T and Charles Palmer, of Portland; and Anna Lane of Dayton. She also leaves a nephew, Charles Alexander who she reared from infancy and a sister, Mrs Edward Conner of Montpelier.
