Impressive funeral services over the remains of the late James L. Newhouse, were conducted this morning at 10 o'clock by the Rev. J. F> Burnett. The services which were largely attended were held in the First Christian church in [sic] North Elm street. The Odd Fellows, Red Men, and Grand Army of the Republic, attended in a body. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Interment occurred in Bethel cemetery. |
