Lindley H. Mendenhall

Muncie, June 16.-Lindley H. Mendenhall, 56, a well known resident of Normal Ciy and a former
resident of Henry county, died at his home, 319 North Dill street, Sunday evening shortly
after 7 o'clock, following a five weeks' illness. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leora
Bourne; two sons, James and Ralph Mendenhall; a sister, Mrs. Isaac Halsey, and one brother,
Jesse Mendenhall, all of this city. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternooon at
2:30 o''clock in the Normal City Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. Mrs. Daisy Barr of the
Friends Memorial church, assisted by Rev. T. J. Johnson, will have charge of the services.
Interment will be made at Beech Grove cemetery. Mr. Mendenhall had been a resident of Normal
City for sixteen years and had been employed at the Ontario SIlver company until a short time
before his death. He was a member of the Keechawa Tribe No. 275, I. O. R. M. All friends are
invited to view the body at the residence as the casket will not be opened at the church.
