Samuel M'Coy Dies Day after He Is Admitted to Infirmary

Samuel McCoy, age 46 years, for years a trainer of race horses in arious stables throughout the state, was
found dead in bed at the county infirmary, east of Muncie, Saturday morning. Coroner Downing, who con-
ducted an inquest, believes organic heart disease to be the cause of death. A brief funeral service was held
over the body this afternooon and burial took place in the infirmary cemetery. McCoy was admitted to the
infirmary Friday afternoon on a order issued by Trestee W. D. Carter, of Center township, after an appeal
had been made to him. For the last few months, his acquaintances say, McCoy had been in failing health but
his condition was not regarded by them to be serious. In recent months he had been employed at the Imes junk
yard here. McCoy had lived in Muncie the last time for more than a year. He was well know in racing circles.

Career Ends At County Home

Samuel McCoy, 46, well-known throughout Indiana as a horse trainer, died Saturday morning at the county infir-
mary, just one day after his entrance there. Brief funeral services were held over the body yesterday afteernoon,
and interment was made in the infirmary cemetery. Coroner Downing stated that death was due to heart's disease.
