Mr. Thomas Madden, one of the oldest residents of this county, died at his residence three miles southeast of the city, day before yesterday, at the advanced age of 87 years. His funeral will take place to-morrow at 10 o'clock. His death was caused by lung fever, and he leaves an aged wife, who is lying very low with the same disease.
