Taps Have Sounded
And Edmund Lovett Responds to the Last Roll Call--Deaths
Edmund Lovett, an old soldier residing at Shideler, has responded to the last sound of "taps," the grim destroyer
having laid low his once strong, well-knit frame at an early hour yesterday morning. Death was due to paralysis.
The deceased was well known throughout the county, and his death will be a source of much regreet to his
hundreds of friends. The funeral will occur Sunday morning at 10 o'clock from the Union church near Shideler,
under the auspices of John Brandt Post G. A. R., of Eaton. The funeral cortege will the proceed to Eaton, where
interment will be made in Eaton cemetery.
