Mrs Alma Larkin died Saturday evening of neuralgia of the heart. The deceased had been employed at the Casket Factory since Jan 1, 1890. Her husband,
in days gone by, was an insurance agent, and commanded a salary of $1800 per annnum, but he became addicted to drink and soon lost his position. Going from bad to
worse the furniture and clothing were pawned until nothing remained, and Mrs Larkin, receiving no support from her husband, left him and undertook to make her own
living, which she did up to the time of her death. Mr George Distlehurst, of the casket company, went to Anderson Sunday to see Larkin and found him working on the
railroad but he could not tell nothing about the relatives of his wife. Messages have been sent to Michigan where it is supposed some relatives live but no answers
have been received up to the time of going to press. If nothing is hear by morning the funeral expenses will be paid by thw Casket Company and their employees and
the funeral will take place from the undertaking establishment of Anderson and Murray.
