Long Life Came To A Close Sunday Evening Albert E. Kelly, 80, died Sunday evening at his home, corner of Second and Jefferson streets. He was a well known member if the Improved Order of Red Men, being a charter member of Munsey tribe. The tribe will have charge of the funeral seervices, the arrangements for which have not yet been made. Mr. Kelly is survived by three sons, two of whom reside in Muncie and the third in Cininnati. |

Albert E. Kelly was born March 7, 1824, in Harriburg, Pa., and died January 7, 1900, aged 75 years and 10 months. He was united in marriage to Elia Shoaff, of Harrisburg, Pa., on October 2, 1851, his ever faithful and loving wife peceeding him to that celestial home where sorrow and pain are unknown. He was a sufferer from paralysis for over two years, bearing his sufferings without a murmur or complaint. He was united with Munsey tribe, No. 144, I. O. R. M., of Muncie, Ind., May 19, 1892, remaining a faithful member until the Great Spirit called him home, being escorted to his final resting place at Camden, Jay County, Ind., by members of the Order of Red Men. He was a kind and affectionate father. Three sons survive to mourn his departure to the happy hunting grounds, whence no traveler returns. |
