Noble Life Has Ended
Unexpected Death Of Mrs. Kelley Wednesday

After rounding out seventy years of a useful and upright life, the hand of death was laid on Mrs. Fannie Kelley, widow
of the late Thomas Kelley, Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home, 508 West Jackson street. The end came unex-
pectedly to all. Previous to last Thursday, Mrs. Kelley enjoyed the best of health. On that day she was taken ill and
pneumonia quickly developed ultimately causing her death, yet at the time no apprehension was felt. The end came peace-
fully when she was surrounded by relatives. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Pennsylvania. For the past ten years she has
resided with her son, Eugene Kelley, and family on West Jackson street. Her other children are Mrs. Agola Windsor and
Albert Kelley, both of Muncie. Her husband, Thomas Kelley, died about four years ago. She was a devout member of High
Street M. E. church since her residence in Muncie and has always taken a keen interest in religious work. Eugene Kelley,
who has been in Joplin, Mo., was telegraphed for and arrived home Wednesday night. His son, Arthur Kelley, came home
from Purdue University Tuesday evening. The arrangements for the funeral will be made Thursday.
