Funeral of Miss Vorie Jones The funeral of Miss Vorie Jones, who was killed at Mt. Pleasant, Saturday morning, by being thrown from a horse, occureed at Mt. Pleasant Church yesterday afternoon at half past two o'clock. Rev. Toby, of Selma, assisted by Mrs. Carter, who was holding a revival at the time Miss Vorie was converted, led the services. Miss Vorie was an attractive, bright and intelligent girl, thirteen years old last Friday, and the sudden going out of her young life is lamented by a large number of friends in the vicinity.
