Fourteen Year Old Boy is Claimed by Death
Wiliam Hursle Johnson, age 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson, residing at 916 South Monroe street, passed away at the family home at 7:45 o'clock Monday morning, following a brief illness with spinal meningits. The parents, two brothers and one sister survives. Private funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. F. E. Smith, pastor of the Jackson Street Christian church. Interment will be nade in the Moore cemetery. The young boy was popular among hosts of friends and the news of his death has come to them as a shock. He attended the Muncie schools and was regarded as being a leader of his class.
