Died-In Washington Township, Delaware County, Indiana, Mary Jane Johnson, daughter of James and Sarah Winton. She was born March 23, 1841; was married to Caleb Johnson Feb 17,
1867; departed this life feb 25, 1880; aged 38 years, 11 months, and 2 days. Mrs Johnson was a good, kind daughter, a true wife, a loving mother, a true parent and a kind neighbor.
She leaves a husband, two small children, an aged mother, one brother and one sister who feel deeply the loss they have sustained. The funeral took place at the Wheeling M E Church,
Feb 27, the writer officiating. We hope she rests in the better land. her husband, mother, brother and sister desire to return
their thanks oto the neighbors for their many attentions.
