Edward J. Johnson Stricken On Way Home
Edward W. (J or W?) Johnson, 75, of 507 Kirby Ave., died unexpectedly Friday at about 3 p.m. at his home. He was stricken as he approached the house after a trip downtown, and died a few minutes after neighbors had carried him inside. The body was removed to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harry Farris, of 923 W. Eighth St., to remain until the funeral hour Monday afternoon at the Parson mortuary. Mr. Johnson, lifelong resident of Delaware County had been in ill health for several months. He was a retired transfer man. Surviving besides the daughter is a son, Bern Johnson of Findlay, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday at the Parson mortuary by the Reverend Dewey Hole. Burial will be in the Parker Moore Cemetery. Friends may call after noon on Sunday.

Johnson Rites Monday
Funeral services for Edward W. Johnson, 76, who died Friday afternoon at the home of a friend, 507 Kirby avenue, will be conducted at the Parson mortuary at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning, the Rev. Dewey Hole in charge. Burial will be in Parker Moore Cemetery. Mr. Johnson made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Paris, 923 West Eighth street. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware County and had been in ill health for some time. Surviving are the daughter and one son, Vern Johnson, of Findlay, O. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Sunday.
