Indiana Deaths
Muncie, Ind, January 20.-The Rev Charles Harvey, pastor of the Methodist church at Eaton, died, yesterday afternoon, of the grip, after a short illness. He was fifty-eight years old, and one of the best-known Methodist ministers in this part of the State. Though very ill, he preached his usual sermon last Sunday night. In his talk, he emphasized his illness, and said, in closing: "If these should be my last words to you, I want you all to know I am sure of heaven." He became violently worse immediately, and continued to sink until his death. He had been in the ministry twenty-seven years, during that time filling charges at huntsville, Newcastle, Gaston, Muncie, Fountain City, Ridgeville, Andrews, and other places. Mr harvey was a civil war veteran. A widow and daughter survive.
