Bluffton, Ind., Dec. 12.-Arthur Hammon, 42, a former resident of this county, died Friday at Battle Creek, Mich., of tuberculosis, from which he had long been a sufferer. He was born near Travisville, this county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Hammon, and lived here until 1906, when he went to Muncie to work. He left that city several years for Michigan. Surviving are the wife, two brothers, William and Alonzo Hammon, of Muncie, and two sisters, Mrs. Mack Harbaugh, and funeral services will be held here Munday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Thomas & Son Chapel, with burial in Fairview. |
