Tribute of Respect to the Memory of Mary Gallivan Mary, daughter of Morris and Mary Gallivan, was born at Bellefontaine, Ohio, July 17, 1870, and after a short illness her soul was released from its pridon house of pain on the 9th of February, 1879. She was aged 8 years, 6 months and 22 days. Her chair in school is vacant. The Great Teacher saw the bright child contending with the rudiments and elements in the school below and finding that she was a “proper child’ promoted her to the school on high. She was careful and studious beyond her years; and while we miss her here we can but rejoice that she has been promoted. She has gone from us, from father and mother, and from brothers and sisters dear, but we mourn not as those having no hope for, if faithful, we shall be promoted to little Mary’s school in proper time. The school unanimously voted a tribute of respect tot heir departed school mate. The body was conducted by the father to the family burial place, Bellefontaine, Ohio. Hannah L.
