Sarah J. Emmons, 79, pioneer resident of Delaware County, and one of the three living Daughters of the War of
1812 in Indiana, is at the point of death at her home on Granville pike. Mrs. Emmons was married for the Second
time on Sept. 30, 1919, at the age of 78. Her husband, Epraim Emmons, is 84. The couple were the oldest ever mar-
ried in Delaware County. Mrs. Emmons is the daughter of David Fleener, a Veteran of the War of J812, who fought
under Andrew Jackson at New Orleans. Mrs. Emmons is the mother of Justice of the Peace Ambrose D. Gray.
