Mary J. Deane, daughter of Nathan and Polly Deane, was born Sept. 24, 1830, and departed this life Oct. 31, 1895, aged 65 years, one month, and seven days. She was the wife of Jasper Snider, deceased. To them were born five children, three of whom survive. Early in life she united with the Christian Newlight church, of which remained a member until death. She was an indulgent mother, a kind and loving neighbor and a true and faithful friend, loved by all who knew her. She will be missed by those who loved her, but what is our loss is heaven's gain. |
