After Many Years
Of Suffering That Drove Him Insane
John Collins is Dead
The remains of John F. Collins arrived in Muncie last night from Richmond where he died yesterday in the hospital for insane. The remains were taken to the home of the only child of the deceased, Mrs. Charles Brown, 620 West Powers street; and burial will occur at the Collins cemetery north of the city. The deceased was a veteran in the war, and whole shot down was run over by a cannon, and his back so badly injured that he lost his mind. He once owned a farm north of Muncie, and has been in the asylum twelve years.
