Taylor Button, a local character who has made his headquarters in the various saloons in Hartford City for the past year, died yesterday in a
room over Adolph Wuchner's saloon, his ailment being a combination of pneumonia and delirium tremens. The dead man was immediately taken
to Undertaker Bell's establishment and prepared for burial. The remains will be interred here tomorrow in the pauper's cemetery. Button is the man
who traded his wife off for a bicycle last spring. The woman is now living in Muncie and she was notified today of her husband's death. Button
has two brothers living in Ohio who are said to be well off.--Hartford City Times.
