Selma, Indiana, February 16-John H. Black, 76 years old, died at his home this morning. He had been very sick with the grip for some time. He leaves a wife and three children, two sons and one daughter. The first two include N.E. Black, the hardware merchant and Silas Black. John H. Black was a member of the Ninth Indiana Cavalry, Company G, and he saw hard service with General Thomas.
