Mrs Lucy Bell, 55, widow of Harry Bell, died in Selma very suddenly while on her way to attend the meeting of the Rebecca lodge in that town. She was stricken with apoplexy and dropped in front of the Orr and Murray store, and died just after the arrival of Dr Charles Jump. Mrs Bell had lived in Selma for 25 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Roscoe G Martin, a brother Louis Parvis, both of whom reside in Selma. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning in the Selma Methodist church, and burial will follow in White cemetery. |
