Mrs Grace Earley Beck Dies

Word was recieved here yesterday of the death of Mrs Grace Earley Beck, 30, wife of Basil Beck, which occurred at Detroit, Mich, Monday morning. Mrs Beck was a former Muncie young woman and was well known here where she spent most of her life. Mrs Beck was born April 19, 1889, at Lancaster, NY, and came to Muncie with her parents a few years later. She attended Muncie high school and was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Shortly after mer marriage to Mr Beck the couple went to Detroit to reside. Relatives were only informed of her illness from pneumonia, a few days ago, and the end came yesterday, following an operation in Providence Hospital.

She was the daughter of W J Earley, of West Powers streetm and leaves besides her husband, a daughter, Betty Jane; three sisters, Mrs Lillie Gessell of West Powers street; Mrs Margaret Zimmerman, of Portsmouth, O; Mrs D S Hartsog, of this city, and one brother, Harry H Earley, of Dayton, O. The body will be brought here for burial and will arrive at 6:05 o'clock this morning. Funeral arrangements will be made later.

Beck-The funeral services for Mrs Grace Earley Beck, 30, wife of Basil Beck, who died in the Providence Hospital in Detroit, following an operation, will be held in the First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev J F Fraser in charge. Burial will be made in the Beech Grove Cemetery. The body was taken to the home of the parents, Mr and Mrs W J Earley, of West Powers upon its arrival in this city. Friends wishing to view the body are asked to call at the Earley residence as the casket will not be opened at the church.
