Death of Colored Woman
Mrs. Jamima D. Armstead, 51, colored, wife of Alfrey P. Armstead, 821 Sout Penn street, died at 9 o’clock yesterday morning, following an extended illness. She is survived by the husband, father, James Hall, two daughters, Mrs. Dan Maxwell and Mrs. Norman E. Smith, one sister, Mrs. Ella Cotton, and two brothers, Charles and Meredith Hall. The funeral will be held at 9:30 o’clock Friday morning at the A. M. E. Church on East Jackson street, with the Rev. Nichols officiating. Burial at Beech Grove Cemetery.
