Jonathan P. Adamson died this morning at his home 217 North High street. He has been confined to his bed with consumption for many weeks. "Uncle Jonanathan," as he was familiarly called, was one of the oldest and best known citizens of the county. For years he was identified with the mercantile interests of this city.
