Veteran Deaths from Memorial Day 1903-1904
The Muncie (Indiana) Morning Star dated June 1, 1904, published list of area Civil War veterans that had passed away between Memorial Day 1903 and Memorial Day 1904. The article is shared here in its entirely with the list appearing alphabetically. There is no indication of the order of names as they appear originally, but it seems to be chronologically although no dates appear. The number in the last colum indicates where they fell in the original order.

Memorial day services each year call to the mind of the veterans the fact that their ranks are rapidly thinning. Adjutant Nathan Long of Williams post, No. 78 G. A. R. has given The Star the following list of those who died since the Memorial day services in 1903, numbering seventeen veterans in all:
