Anna Modlin McKimmey, daughter of John and Rachel Modlin, was born January 4th, 1835, in Henry county, Indiana; moved from Henry county to Delaware county in 1851; was married to Joel R. McKimmey, Jan. 4th, 1855; moved to my present home, Muncie, Delaware county, in the year 1878. My family consisted of five children - three of whom are gone to the spirit land; two are living.Reminiscences
