Weaver Family
Family Bible of the Weaver Family of Virginia, West Virginia and Indiana
This Bible, published in 1847, or at least it's records, were used as evidence in the Civil War pension file of Augustus John S Weaver. It is unclear when
the book itself was destroyed, but the records and loose notes, were kept by Augustus's daughter, Oskaloosa Des Moines (Weaver) Nestor, then passed on to
her daughter, Wavia Nestor. In 1978, Wavia shared Zerox copies with family researcher, Juanita (Weaver) Lewis who was also a granddaughter of Augustus.
